LOMEA
EARMILK “both left field and emotionally powerful"
London composer, guitarist, fine artist and electronic music producer heavily championed by Spotify gaining placements on over 40 editorial playlists and ramping up 5 million streams.
Drawing upon a myriad of diverse influences, from early 70s prog to techno, Lomea weaves the electronic with the acoustic, the intense with the serene, creating a distinctive musical palette and revealing an instinctive natural warmth and empathy. Lomea’s sound compared to Jon Hopkins, Four Tet and Radiohead.
Lomea championed on radio by the likes of Nemone (BBC 6 Music), Nick Luscombe (BBC Radio 3) and across many NPR stations in the US.
When not releasing commercially Rich Keyworth (Lomea) is a successful composer scoring for leading brands including BMW, Panasonic, Mazda, Land Rover and Everton Football Club.
Elicit Magazine “Lomea is forging his own sound often pairing 12 string guitar with techno and electronica. His multi-layered, processed, filtered and acoustic guitars coupled with all manner of synths, found sound, field recordings, effects and electronics, lends itself as much to alternative, post and prog rock as it does dance music with nods to film-score and classical music too."
Data Transmission “we were blown away by cascading acoustic guitars and infectious percussion, textured synths and off-kilter hits attacking from all angles all in an electronic track – we think you’re gonna love it too!”
Decoded Magazine “Lomea shapes his unique sound from a blend of analogue and digital electronic sound sources, field recordings and manipulated organic instruments.”
