Here & Now Recordings is a boutique independent record label and publishing house based in Woking, UK, dedicated to cinematic, ambient-jazz, and electronic music. Founded in 2005 by John Cunningham, the label serves as a creative hub for a collective of globally recognized artists, producers, and composers.

We are not just a label; we are a lineage of hit-makers. Our roster connects the underground with the Billboard charts, featuring:

  • Kevin Kadish: The Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer behind the 10x Platinum global smash "All About That Bass" (Meghan Trainor) and hits for Jason Mraz and Fifth Harmony.

  • David Baron: A legendary Woodstock-based producer and modular synth pioneer known for his work with The Lumineers (Cleopatra), Lana Del Rey, and Bat For Lashes.

Here & Now Recordings was both founded by and is run by John Cunningham. Record collector, music journalist and music producer and DJ John Cunningham needed an outlet for an artist he was producing.
