My kind of banging techno. Banging in the sonic sense. Fabulous bass heavy synth grooves giving way to lush sensatory soundscapes induce complete mental absorption. The piece evolves in this manner over 10 magical minutes, much like the journey of this track. One Jon Hopkins has been developing, maturing like a fine wine, to fantastic effect for many years. As a record label owner and outlet for cinematic electronica I can only be inspired hearing sounds like these raising the bar so high. Hats off to Jon Hopkins !
