Lomea ‘Echoes In Bloom’
With his second album Echoes in Bloom, multi-instrumentalist producer and fine artist Lomea continues his exploration of the synthesis of duality, delicately pairing opposites in slickly arranged light and dark narratives.
For the cover art he created an interlocking series of 9 canvas paintings inspired by the concept of Ouroboros, the ancient circular symbol depicting a snake swallowing its tail, symbolising unity, wholeness, two opposites coming together as one.
Drawing upon a myriad of diverse influences, Lomea weaves the electronic with the acoustic, analogue with digital, the intense with the serene, creating a distinctive musical palette and revealing an instinctive natural warmth and empathy.

Narratives is the result of two years’ worth of creative exploration; combining found sounds and field recordings to create texture and rhythm with his trademark multilayered acoustic guitars and analogue synths, all processed with extensive use of guitar pedals and FX. The end-product is a blend of richly evocative and hypnotic soundscapes, slickly arranged alongside intense and intricate electronic beats.
Lomea takes inspiration from artists as diverse as Amon Tobin, Steve Reich, Clark, Trentemøller, Opeth, The Field, Jon Hopkins, The Cinematic Orchestra and Sigur Rós. Think filmscore, post rock and brain dance electronica
